Have a great day!

Ann.

Just kidding. As far as I know, he didn't have one. I suppose he
might have had a patronymic, but I have no idea what the patronymic
for Judah (his father's name) would have been. In any case, he never
used one.

That's interesting. I mean, I've heard of people without middle names
and all, sure, but . . . okay, so it's not that interesting. But it *is*
an interesting tidbit in my IA databank. Thanks.

Have a great day!

Middle-name is very american, it's not that common in Europe or Asia,
and Asimov comes from Russia.

If it means anything, I don't have a middle name.

When I was younger, before I changed my name, I used to tell people that
my middle name was "E" because I hated my middle name: Edward. In the TV
shows of the time and so forth, anyone named Eddie was an idiot Wink.

Have a great day!

It does mean you don't have a middle name, so in essence, yes, it does mean
something! Wink

Wow, three "first" names Wink. In America, only the first name is the
"first" name, and you can have as many middle names as you want (but
most people just have one).

Have a great day!

only the first is used (except perhaps in jean pierre, jean christophe)
in real life but they are printed on the identity card.

3 or 2, I only have 2.

But they are never used, except on official papers, and we (french
people) don't know the "secondary first names" of famous people (be it
writers, actors, musicians, politicians, ...)

Yep, Wolfgang Amadeus.
