He wrote the story or book the work was based on in most cases, actual
screenplays for Time and Timbuktu and Wanda June, and the film you mention, he
plays himself as an actor. He didnt' write any of the script, but Harold Ramis
was involved

He didn't write that? Has he been in any other Rodney Dangerfield
movies?

it would also be good to note Vonnegut plays the tv commercial
director in the movie breakfast of champs. and mr tom robbins, also a
wonderful earthling author, plays peskey webber, he has a quick shot
in the lounge scene toward the end of the movie, yup, the guy in white
with the glasses. his wife alexia robbins is one of the twins that
rushes to greet the great kilgore trout, leaving robbins with hoobler
at the bar. wow i love that scene!

love the book even more, but i think they did a good job with it. who
am i this time is a good little play-type of a show as well.

hey does anyone here happen to know of a mailing address to send a
card or a thought to kurt? nothing weird or dangerous of course, just
a hey i sure enjoy your work and wonder how you are doing note? or can
anyone of his pals on here pass that on to him? Smile

todd, a big fan of good writing...
