The concept sticks in my mind... maybe because of my parents. When my dad
worked, he used to come home everyday to have lunch (with his wife). They
did everything together.

I love that, too, and it was the movie that really brought it home for
me (maybe because I had not read the book for quite a while when I saw
the movie).

I feel that way about my wife, that we are a nation of two. Great
concept from KV! And Mother Night is one of my favorite books and
certainly the best KV movie.
