What is the purpose of life? Go to school, get a job, get
married, have kids, work 9 to 5 for decades and then retire.
What do the salmon do? They swim upstream, spawn and die.
Not happy? Take more drugs, work harder and buy more
consumer products.
The endless highway.
Every town looks like every other town because of identical
corporate
franchises selling identical mass produced products for the masses.
Would you like fries with that? Have a nice day.
Corporate logos are everywhere.
What happens to individual identity in the age of mass production,
mass consumption, mass transportation, and mass communication?
Join the people who've joined the masses.
Not happy? Watch more commercials and buy more corporate products.

America the beautiful, America the incorporated.

"I am not a number, I am a free man." Uh, yeah, right.
Driver's license number, vehicle registration number, savings account
number,
checking account number, credit card number, social security number,
passport number, phone number, fax number, password number,
life insurance number, auto insurance number, etc, etc, etc . . . . .
..
I'm getting number and number from all these damned numbers.
Why do I keep reading books by Kerouac? Something to do with the
pursuit
of happiness? Something to do with the pursuit of freedom?
Why am I asking you - the anonymous lost souls of cyberspace?
I guess standing on top of one's head on top of a mountain in the
state of
Washington makes about as much sense as anything else. A different
perspective.
I've got to cut down on my drinking. Well, maybe not.
