I have read Scanner Darkly and Radio Free Albemuth. I have a copy of Valis
somewhere that hasn't been read.

I'd suggest I Dream of Electric Sheep so you can compare it to what
Ridley did with it to make Blade runner

UBIK or Clans of the Alphane Moon are also total undiluted Dick

Man in The High Castle is somewhat overrated IMHO but it is well thought
of by many people

Looking at my bookshelf I'd say there's a lot of good stuff to choose
from ...

No offense but - it's actually called "Do Androids Dream Of Electric
Sheep?"

There are actually two titles available at Amazon - the other is
called "BladeRunner (Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?)"

You may also want to check out the PKD short story "We Can Remember It
for You Wholesale," which inspired the movie "Total Recall".
It's also available from Amazon as "We Can Remember It for You
Wholesale (Collected Stories: Volume 5)

Electric Sheep (very different to Bladerunner) , Ubik and Martian Time slip.
In general stick to the scifi and short stories. His other stuff is patchy.

Valis can be a difficult read for some people. They either love it or hate
it. IMO it is his masterpiece. But I had read a lot of his other books
first.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

My personal favorites are UBIK, Time Out Of Joint, and Eye In The Sky.
Also, if you like shorter stories, The Collected Stories of PKD, Vol. 1-5
are full of excellent tales (imo). Radio Free Albemuth was the first of
PKD's books i read and it made me want to read every thing else he's
written!
