I'm well and truly sorry Peter F. Hamilton but Pandora's Star will
have to wait. I have just got Everville by Clive Barker. Sorry Pete
but there is no competition on the books of the art.

....And that has what to do with Stephen King, exactly...?

I heard Clive Barker say in SK's presence that Stephen King was
responsible for Barker's career as a writer taking off.

And SK once said about 30 years ago something to the effect that Clive
Barker was the future of horror.

Other than that...

What? I'm not "hiding" behind anything. I see from your headers that you
are also (apparently) a Linux user, and would be likely to understand the
things I pointed out to you in my previous post.

What was it about the previous post that you found objectionable, anyway?
It was all polite and accurate. Do you disagree with what I said?

You insult Ubuntu users. I don't think that's fair. A distro is a
distro whatever it faults and greats.

Ahhh, so it wasn't the content of the post that bothered you, just the sig
block. I see.

Welcome to Usenet. Life can be a bitch, sometimes. Get over it.

Yeah! He said that during the Publishers' Award ceremony here in Canada!
He was very gracious in his praise and respect for SK and SK was visibly
moved by CB's speech.
