(No. Who won?)
Afaik, that was Ron Howard trying to sell us on the "majesty" of his
high-priced potboiler. I shudder to think Spielberg's putting Indiana
Jones up for sainthood...

It got the worst reviews imaginable which ended up doing Ron Howard
and his movie a favor because from then on, it was a case of "well, it
wasn't quite *that* bad".
Has anyone been able to sit through The Da Vinci Code twice? I didn't
mind seeing it in a theater but attempts to watch even a minute of it
since then, it's like hitting a brick wall of boredom. >> Stay informed about: the retarded americans get ready for cannes |

I hit the brick wall 3 hours in (DVR said it was only 20 minutes, but I
think it's clock is wrong) on the first viewing and turned it off.

I already knew about it when it was just a book - made it easy to
avoid. >> Stay informed about: the retarded americans get ready for cannes |
