I play a lot on eBay these days. I like to do searches of things that
interest me to see what's available. Today I searched "Stephen King".
Several thousand items came up and one of the first is a copy of a signed
script of The Stand.

Maybe I'm being a bit picky, but that sounds really fishy to me. Someone is
selling a colour photocopy of an autographed copy of the script.

That's creepy.

There are a kazillion signed copies of scripts out there (not just
King-related) on eBay. Most of them are photocopies and I'm not even sure
the "originals" are legit!

So how did you figure that out?? That level of dishonesty just saddens me.

Oh, they stated it was a copy in one listing. I can't believe that anyone
would pay upwards of fifteen dollars for a copy of an autographed script.
Of course, I may just be exceptionally stingy. Wink)

LOL! I'm trying to figure out when I found alt.b.sk, I don't think it was
much before you, Kim. Maybe a year at most. But if memory serves, at all,
when I started I had my "tex", text-only computer. Things really got
exciting when I upgraded in '97 - '98.

But seriously, there are no female old-timers. In cyberspace we're
spring-chicks forever! Wink)
