Please tell me what du mean by "Typo" I dont understand the word.

But if it means what the list is for, so I want to have a mailing list
there Beat fans can met, I know many of those already exist, but I
havent find any beat-socitey, it exist many socitey of fans for many
difference writer but why not the beat-writers when so many like them.
So I created a Beat-socitey just at the net, but maybe in the future
it will be a really socitey (global).

It just means a 'typographical' error; a typing mistake.

'Society' is spelt without an 'e' before the 'y', so Marcus may have been
wondering if there was a typing error in the address you posted.

English spelling is notoriously impossible, so these things can easily
happen.
