It was Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 Op. 13 - Adagio Cantabile, also
known as "Pathetique"

The Piano Sonata No.8 Op.13 (Adagio Cantabile) by Beethoven was used for the
Opening and End Credits in the film.

As the composer of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the highly
acclaimed Independent Film, BUKOWSKI: BORN INTO THIS, I would like to encourage
you to visit my new web site which features select audio clips from the score,
the poetry of Charles Bukowski, and an opportunity to purchase the collector's
edition CD which is only available at www.bukowskiCD.com.

This CD contains the complete original score, audio clips of readings by
Bukowski, rare photos and select printed excerpts of poetry.

Best regards,

James Stemple

I'll be visiting my friend Zack, owner of Riffs, a local independant
CD [and other interesting things] store this weekend. He's carried my
chapbooks for sale there for several years when I put new ones out,
has a nice selection of bootleg and import CDs. I'm pretty sure he'll
want to get a few copies of your Buk soundtrack for his shop. I think
that would be the way to get your record out there--- there's several
shops in Atlanta that I think would jump all over your project, as
well. I'll be in that area early next week, I'll pass your link to the
appropriate suspects...

This would be very much appreciated, Will. It's not easy making people aware
of the CD's existience. It is solely marketed via the web at this point.

Thanks again,

James
