Consider:

1) A distinct lack of white noise due to 50,000,000 earwigs moving about.

2) No suspicious explosions, raucous chittering, or unexpected geography.

3) The ferry hasn't been seen for a while.

Clearly they've been explaining the WIG effect in the Orient!

Yes--#2 is it. I'm at home--trying to just catch up on a lot of business
things--and making some progress---but...I hate adult business transactions,
like working on a community property settlement.

Why has the newsgroup alt.usenet.legends.lester-mosley been added to this reply?

Where? I can't see it anywhere (except in your message body text).

Are you sure your news software is working correctly?

You may be getting crosstalk from something the woodlice have been working
on recently (they called it "Concord" but it didn't make any loud bangs
so nobody took any notice of it...).

As another datum point, this moose can't see it either.

Maybe Cix is on the blink or the NSA line eater has been put into
reverse?

I'd suggest propitiating Shub Internet if you've got a problem,
but right now this moose fancies some trouser stiffener, anyone
else fancy a stroll down to the Lundy? (I'll bring *chocolate*.)

If it helps, Marika's post's have all had that cross-posting; Beetle noted
it a while back in another topic, but got no reply from Marika as to WHY!
Marika, you might want to double check why you are cross-posting as, unless
the person replying to you notices, their replies also get cross-posted -
and as (I assume) none of us apart from you knows who 'Lester Mosely' is...

Never mind that last, I found it all by myself.

The sound of thundering librarian feet is heard
throughout the village. Some has mentioned the magic
word, chocolate.

Coo! The search thingy is working - it wasn't when I submitted the thing!
I didn't want to look like I was plugging it - especially as it isn't about
that off-topic author chappie...
Au Res.,
Paul (only reason I'm going to the big Star Wars thingy in London on Sunday
is that a friend gave me a 'get in free' thingy from one of the tabloids...)

Hey, I was just impressed that you had a podcast. I put in your name
(itunes, incidentally) and the cast popped up. Anyway,
congratulations and all

Oooh. I'd go if I had a 'get in free' thingy. Oh, and if I was close
enough to London for it not to be a 15 hour trip. (err, that is
including waiting round in airports time, mind.)
