Bim.

Speaking entirely for myself and without prejudice.

That was all, you can go back to whatever it was you were doing now.

Get a grip, lad. Ducks don't look a lot like fish-men. In fact they
don't even look a *little* like fish-men.

>(I think Beetle failed her SAN roll)

I could say things about little black saucepans here, but it probably
wouldn't be kind.

I *could* say them in Wlesh, but that would probably be an Act of War.

Round these parts (and in most of Bristol and in the sleepy little
village of Adderbury, Oxon) they come on Thursday, and in the slvoAO
there are three different sorts of bim, green, blue and brown, which
they don't deal with all of each week... Pity the poor householder
trying to sort out which bim or combination of bims to use...

Everyone thinks that, but there's a warning I'd like to administer. You
think they're cuddly, but I know they're sinister.

After all, what /are/ they doing at night in the park?

Anyone who thinks ducks are cuddly has never tried to cuddle one.

A dry duck or a wet duck, it makes little or no odds; when cuddled, they
morph spontaneously into creatures composed entirely of an extremely
hard beak and several acres of fast-moving, clammy webbed feet, whose
main objective seems to be to get as much of themselves as possible into
the hugger's eyes. For some reason downy feathers don't make themselves
apparent at all in these circumstances.
