(though I am!)
I've been asked to give a talk on stage at the Memorabilia show in
Birmingham at the end of November; I'm friends with a chap who produces a
magazine about the world of non-sport trading card collecting, who has taken
a stand (as he has for the last few years; I usually help out in return for
a dealer pass and a couple of pints in the pub later). This year he has
arranged to have a talk about non-sport trading cards and, as I do a podcast
on the subject, he's roped me in to give a talk too!
Absolutely no relevance to anything else, but I wanted to share my second[1]
public engagement with Abthites, 'cos I'm dead chuffed about it!
Au Res.,

[1] my first was as co-lead vocalist (rather than singer - calling myself a
singer would stretch the Trades Description Act a little more than I am
prepared to accept the consequences for) for the band at the works barbecue
a few years ago, thus satisfying my dream of performing a gig with a proper
