I'm somewhat excited as much as I hate the prices of comic books today
(considering most are about half the size of comics 8+ years ago) but I've
read just about everything you've writen and I'm always thirsty for more.
I like this quote on the Dabel Brothers site tho
"the sort of story one would expect from an author who is often said to be
second only to Tolkien."
Second? pffft. >> Stay informed about: wood boy comic |

I don't know. I know Diamond is shipping overseas, but I don't know
when they're going to get there. I'd call a local store and ask.
Depends on where you are, I guess. If you're in Auckland, I suspect
you'll see it soon enough; if you're down on Stewart Island . . .?

I don't think I've ever bought a comic book in my life. Odd that at 34
years of age I would be considering doing so. I look forward to reading
this.

I've never bought one, but my fiancee has a collection of the Sandman
series by Neil Gaiman, hugely recommended, wonderful series. I think I
shall have a look at the Wood Boy comic, if it's even a fraction as good
as the Sandman stuff it will be well worth it.

Bad news, Heroes 4 Sale don't stock it and they couldn't find it on their
order lists. Bit odd considering it was published by Image and they stock
other Image stuff. The good news is they have a copy of Rogue
Trooper:Future War that I'll go and grab tomorrow >> Stay informed about: wood boy comic |

I have no idea what "The Burning Man," is, but Wood Boy #1 is out with
#2 out next month.

I picked up this comic last week, and I have to say I was blown away for a
couple of reasons. Firstly, it was crazy to walk into a comic shop and see
a comic penned by someone whose books I've been reading since I was a young
fella (being that I'm only 25, that wasn't too long ago!), but even moreso
in that it was such a good feeling to see the Tsurani and Kingdom folk
visualised! Ray's always made it easy to see the characters in your head,
but to actually have them right there in front of you.. Sensational. I
never used to like Matt Broome's art - and to be entirely honest, he's done
better work than what he's offered in this comic - but all the same I was
impressed.
Nice one Ray!

I think it's fun. We're going to have a completely different look,
however, for Magician.
